Ok, so I totally bought 90's mom jeans. It was an accident, I swear. When I first tried them on, they looked ok. They were a little bit adventurous for me, as I always, and I mean ALWAYS buy dark wash jeans. I also only buy skinny jeans. Well, I saw these lighter wash, straighter leg jeans with cuffed ankles, I thought, "Oh, well these could be interesting!" At first, they looked good on me. They hit right at the ankle, something I look for as far as denim goes. I thought, "Hey, I could use a new pair of jeans! Let's do this."
Ok, then I wore them later that day... with flats. Gross. Sick. I had a serious 90's mom look going on. You know, the light wash jeans with the boxy crotch, that are in no way flattering? Yeah, those jeans. The only thing that would have made it worse is if I had on a pair of dirty, white Reebok tennis shoes. Then, I said, "Oh, hell, maybe I'll try on these heels I never wear." It worked!...kinda? Maybe?
I'm still not too sure about my latest denim purchase, but they do fit me fairly well, in the sense that they are not all bunched up in the ankle/calf region due to my supreme lack of height. Also, my belly region is contained and I don't feel squeezed to death in them.
I figured for this outfit, I would pair said 90's maternal jeans with heels to dress them up a bit, and a cardigan because it is absolutely freezing here in the mitten. Like honestly, if I don't see some sunshine soon, I'm going to need a prescription for Xanax.
Anyway, some things I should mention... I may be hosting a giveaway soon for glasses from firmoo.com. It would be my first giveaway, so that's pretty exciting! I looked, and they have some pretty darn cute glasses that are really inexpensive. I want to look up reviews before I agree to it, to make sure they are decent quality. So check back for that!
And I made a Twitter account! I have a link to follow on the top left side of my page. Follow me @drssingrmdiary
I also want to thank everyone who has followed me or left comments! It really means a lot when people say they really like my little Bloggie (which is what I have pet named my blog) because it is something I completely love doing and I do pour a decent amount of effort into it. So, as always, THANK YOU for reading and (hopefully) enjoying :) Have an excellent weekend!
