Ok, so I didn't really need a concealer, as I am quite pleased with the Tarte concealer I am currently using, but when I saw this new one from Benefit, I just had to try it! This concealer is different, because the actual concealer is surrounded by a layer of this hydrating balm. I got the lightest shade, obviously, to match my corpse skin. It might be a bit more yellow than I prefer, because I like my under eye concealer to be slightly lighter than my skin. My eyes seem to look brighter that way.
My attraction to this was based on the fact that my eyes have been looking a little on the dry side lately. Sometimes, I find my concealer looking flaky under my eyes. With this, it does look smoother and more hydrated.
I also like the convenience of the lipstick tube type of packaging. I can throw this in my bag and touch up my corpse eyes any time. It's nice to just swipe this on under my eyes and be able to easily blend it out with my fingers. You don't really need a brush, as this blends really nicely. I like to use the warmth of my fingers to blend my concealer anyway.
As for the "creaseless" aspect of this product, I can't say I am super impressed. It might be that I have super deep creases under my eyes, and can't even wear eyeliner on my bottom lash line, but this does crease in that area (I think any product would crease under my eyes, though.)
This doesn't cover blemishes super well, so I just use this under my eyes and my Tarte Maracuja Concealer for blemishes.
This is $24 for a .12 oz tube on Sephora's website.
